Amanda Corrine (Gaston) Yost

Amanda Corrine Yost, age 43, of Chester, South Carolina, passed away on April 20, 2025, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. She was born on April 5, 1982, to the late Lonnie Rothell Gaston, Jr. and Suzy Gail Rickman Brazell.

Amanda is survived by her loving husband, Benjamin Mitchell Yost; her mother, Suzy Gail Rickman Brazell (Lee); and her cherished siblings, Daniel Adam Gaston and Candice Grace Brazell Rush (Robbie). She was preceded in death by her father and her beloved paternal grandmother, Peggy Lou Hardin Gaston.

Amanda was a dedicated heavy equipment operator for the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), where she took great pride in her work and contributions to her community.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal services. The family will receive friends at the home of Amanda and Ben to honor her memory and celebrate her life.
